I am originally from Indiana where I received my bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education from Indiana University with my primary instrument being flute. From there, I have taught musicians of all ages in several positions including Graduate Assistant with the Department of Bands at Purdue University, Assistant Director of Bands at McCutcheon High School, K-5 General Music Teacher at Dakota Elementary, and PreK-5 General Music Teacher at Pine Level Elementary School.  

I am a proud Air Force spouse and mother of two wonderful children ages 12 and 9. Together we have lived in six different states with the last 2 years being spent in Alabama. In our free time we enjoy boating, camping, and getting out to explore all that this state and the surrounding states have to offer.  We love being part of this great community!
