Current Class Read Aloud: Third Grade Angels by Jerry Spinelli (2/17 - 3/6)
Educational Purpose: This story promotes exploration of important themes such as friendship, kindness, and the challenges of growing up. Through the story of George, a third grader navigating social dynamics and the desire to be recognized for his good deeds, students can engage in meaningful discussions about empathy, the importance of character, and the impact of their actions on others.
About Me
My name is Madison Chandler and I am thrilled to be your child's third grade teacher this year! I am a graduate of Holtville High School. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University at Montgomery. I am currently working towards an Education Specialist degree. I am a newlywed! This will be my third year of teaching 3rd grade, and my first year at PLES. I previously taught at Tallassee Elementary School. I love to read, travel, cook, and spend time with my family. I truly can't wait for all the adventures we will have together!
